University District

Overview

The northernmost edge of South Bay Drift shades into an informal university district — cheap housing, student-facing businesses, late-night spots, and the tolerant apathy of a neighborhood that learned to ignore whatever the kids get up to. Adjacent to South Bay proper but with its own lighter, louder character.

Notable Spots

• Schroeder’s Theater — a decommissioned movie theater that The Second Sons use for Good Movie Night; projector restored by Kenny Log-ins, protection deal fulfilled (Session 03)
• Knight City University (KCU) — local university with a MedTech building; Golden Girl is a student; Professor Jackson teaches here
• Pixel Dust — arcade; Kenny Log-ins is a regular
• Crystal Lily — neon-lit, tourist-trap-ish bar at the North Port (northern border of the district); open till 4 AM; site of the crew’s Session 04 meeting with Ledger
• Student-facing ripperdocs, food stalls, bars; Nexus Mods marketed hard to this demographic

Known Residents / Regulars

• Golden Girl — goes to school here; lives in the area
• Kenny Log-ins — hangs out here regularly; knows the neighborhood
