South Night City
Overview
The southern edge of Night City — the crew’s home turf. A dense, working-class neighborhood with a historically Polish pocket at its core, a university district to the north, and the combat zone bleeding in from the south. Cheap enough to live in, rough enough to keep most corps out. Loosely controlled by The Second Sons.
Districts
- The Polish Blocks (Kawólski / Cawoski area) — older storefronts, Polish street names, where the Second Sons are most visible; Kowalski Clinic and Kenny’s Workshop are here
- University District — northern edge; student housing, arcades, cheap ripperdocs, Schroeder’s Theater; Golden Girl’s neighborhood
- South Bay Docks — southern port; shipping containers, dock workers; where the Continental Brands container was stolen
- Combat Zone fringe — southern border; South Night City Combat Zone; where Piranha territory was and where things get serious fast
Factions
- The Second Sons — dominant gang; anti-drug, maintain a rough order; based at Goose Salvage
- The Piranhas — were distributing Vilify here; significantly weakened after Session 02
- Pacifica Confederacy — nomad presence south of the area; not directly competing but in the picture
