Peaches

Overview

A young racer at Ziptown and one of Mr. Zip’s life path connections — he’s known her since she was a kid growing up around the camp and has watched her grow into an adult. Obsessed with speed above everything else; gets visibly excited talking about making things go fast.

Appearance

Crop top and jeans, racing helmet (worn only under protest; Mira insists). Rides a motorcycle named Cherry Bomb.

Known Facts

  • Life path connection to Mr. Zip — he’s watched her grow up around the camp
  • Regularly races the Blacktop Saints; record stands at 11 wins, 9 losses as of this session
  • Wants her bike upgraded to a superbike; camp mechanic Vesna Ratchet refuses, considering it too dangerous for her
  • Thrilled to see Mr. Zip return with his newly upgraded Zipmobile; rode along on its first test drive
  • Filled in details on the Blacktop Saints for the crew: no formal race schedule, they build and maintain roads, and are reportedly working on a new car nicknamed “the General”
  • Most of her wins and losses have been against the Duke Boys. She’s well known and welcome at the Saints’ camp and can “butter things over” for visitors
  • Wants to run a danger race and upgrade to a superbike, but Mira won’t let her do either. Mira also makes her wear her helmet (“this bullshit”). Feels she’s proven herself plenty and that the rest of Ziptown doesn’t care much about racing except to cheer on Mr. Zip
  • Has never been to the ocean. Fuel at Ziptown is too scarce to waste on a joyride to the coast
  • Idolizes Mr. Zip (“He is our best driver, bar none”; “you just light everything up”)
  • Openly puzzled by Zip running with a corpo (Broker). She wants him to knock back a few drinks with her and explain it once the job is done

Relationships

Open Questions

  • Will she push further for the superbike upgrade, or for a danger race?
  • Does she have any deeper connection to the Blacktop Saints beyond racing them?
  • Kenny floated her as a possible wheelman for an engine heist, while admitting it would mean taking advantage of her. Will the crew actually ask?

Appearances

  • Session 08 — First appearance; greeted Mr. Zip’s return, rode along on the Zipmobile’s test drive, and briefed the crew on the Blacktop Saints
  • Session 09 — Guided the crew to the Blacktop Saints’ camp; watched and cheered Mr. Zip’s win over the Duke Boys; asked Zip for drinks and an explanation of the corpo
