Mira Stojanovic

Overview

The matriarch and de facto business dealer of Ziptown, Mr. Zip’s home nomad camp. An “auntie” figure to the clan — warm with the kids, sharp and unsentimental at the negotiating table. Shares the family surname (Stojanović) with Radovan.

Appearance

Comes across as the camp’s business dealer more than a formal leader — practical, direct, quick to size up a deal.

Known Facts

  • Runs Ziptown’s practical affairs: greets visitors, orders food prepared, handles trades on the camp’s behalf
  • Genuinely worried when Mr. Zip is away — greeted his return to camp with open relief (“we’ve been worried sick”)
  • Warned Zip that the Pacifica Confederacy has been encroaching on Ziptown’s territory and may be “gathering for something bigger”
  • Negotiated the trade of Mr. Zip’s stolen Continental Brands helicopter for a gyrocopter plus 6,000 EB — refused to fence it outright as stolen goods (“we are not bank… not well equipped to sell that level of stolen merchandise”), but agreed to absorb it into the camp’s own fleet after conversion
  • Held firm through a haggle attempt, moving only modestly off her final offer
  • Session 08: still anxious and losing sleep over the Blacktop Saints’ encroachment when the crew checks in again; admits she has no solution and defers to Radovan’s judgment, calling him “a true community member” who’s earned her trust
  • Protective of Peaches: won’t let her run danger races or upgrade to a superbike, and makes her wear her helmet (per Peaches, Session 09)

Open Questions

  • Is she Radovan’s actual mother, aunt, or otherwise related?
  • What is Ziptown’s formal leadership structure, if any?

Relationships

  • Mr. Zip — treats him like family returning home; shares his surname
  • Peaches — keeps her on a short leash when it comes to racing

Appearances

  • Session 07 — First appearance; greeted Mr. Zip’s return to Ziptown, warned him about the Pacifica Confederacy, negotiated the helicopter-for-gyrocopter trade
  • Session 08 — Still losing sleep over the Blacktop Saints’ encroachment; deferred to Radovan’s judgment on how to handle it
  • Session 09 — Mentioned only; per Peaches, still forbidding Peaches from danger races and the superbike upgrade
