Escalante
Overview
A designer clothing brand operating in Night City. Comparable to Uniqlo in market positioning — accessible premium fashion, possibly with some tech-integrated or cyberwear-adjacent lines. Broker works here as a corporate exec and considers it a step down from his parents’ global-corp trajectory, though he frames it to himself as “bohemian.”
Key People
- Alvin Partridge — CEO; described as erratic and possibly dangerous
- Broker — exec; player character
- Isabella Taka — Broker’s personal assistant; assigned as corporate liaison for the Session 01 recovery job
Current Situation
An important Escalante package — a data cube — went missing from South Bay (Session 01 in-game date). Satellite tracking went dead. The cube was hidden inside a stolen Continental Brands shipping container; the Piranhas stole the container on Dr. Willie’s instructions to obtain a chemical compound called Nonh hidden inside with the kibble. The cube came along for the ride without anyone knowing what it was.
The cube was recovered by the crew from Nexus Mods in Session 02, in the same standdown where Continental Brands corporate mercs arrived and took custody of the scene. The crew is now being escorted to CB headquarters.
Open Questions
- What exactly is in the Escalante package?
- What is Alvin Partridge’s actual business beyond the clothing brand?
- How does Vilify connect to the Continental Brands container and Escalante’s operation?
