Overview

Full name Euna Tae, sometimes given as Euna Tae-Araska. Goes by Unity. Kenny Log-ins’ tech partner and current business partner — part of his present life rather than his Drift childhood, making her the only major figure in his backstory who knows him primarily as the adult he’s become. Works out of Kenny’s cargo container workshop on the edge of the combat zone.

• Lives in her own apartment in or near the University District — not at the workshop
• The cargo container apartment/workshop is in a combat zone adjacent neighborhood; a local gang watches it in exchange for Kenny’s services
• Life path background (unconfirmed in play): Switch arranged Kenny’s return to Earth and tasked Euna with recovering him when his drop arrived in Night City — labeled, cryptically, “unspecified biological samples.” Euna’s exact relationship to Switch is unconfirmed (former apprentice, favor owed, part of an Earthside smuggling network, or simply the right person with the right workshop)
• Reportedly the child of a union between Korean chaebol Taehwa Heavy Industries and a crumbling Arasaka — a parentage she doesn’t advertise, given Arasaka’s current ban from operating in Night City. Whether she’s estranged from that family or still working for them in some capacity is unconfirmed
• Session 06: Kenny called her mid-raid on Continental Brands, high on synthcoke and genuinely unsure he’d survive, to say goodbye and ask her to look after Betamax if he didn’t come back — “probably the most confusing call she’s ever gotten”
• Session 07: on the receiving end of a second, drunker call — Kenny, coming down off synthcoke at the post-raid party, left her a long rambling voicemail apologizing for “being such a shitty person.” She showed up in person furious and scared, tried to slap him, and confronted him about what almost happening to him would have meant (the dog going hungry, her showing up to a locked workshop). He fumbled the explanation badly enough that she stormed off unconvinced — the second time in one night a woman in the crew’s orbit refused to just absorb the fallout of their work (Isabella did the same to Broker earlier the same party)
• Session 08: received an apologetic heads-up text from Kenny before he left for Ziptown (“just want to let you know I’m okay”); replied with only a rolling-eyes emoji. Also dogsitting Betamax while Kenny was away — per Kenny’s own account, played Cyberfetch with him, kept up his tricks, and fed him choco kibble
