Mr. Continental
Overview
A Continental Brands representative operating out of the company’s South Town temporary headquarters at the South Bay docks. Professional, unflappable, and blunt. The man who hired the crew for the Vilify cleanup and gave them each a Choco Kibble coupon.
Appearance
Sits in shadow during meetings, flanked by armed guards. Measured and corporate in speech. Prefers not to answer direct questions about CB’s internal operations.
Known Facts
- Operates out of CB’s South Town branch — a run-down, temporary facility behind chain link fencing near the South Bay docks
- Authorized the 3,000 EB retainer for the crew to investigate the Vilify crisis
- Stated CB’s three priorities: identify their internal leak, estimate remaining Vilify supply on the street, find a way to contain and treat affected users
- Confirmed that Dr. Willie had access to the Nonh compound before the Piranhas robbed the container — pointing to a prior leak
- Holds Dr. Willie in custody at the South Town facility; offered the crew access to question him
- Forwarded his personal agent number to the crew; goes by “Mr. Continental” only
- Asked the crew to wait no longer than one week before getting started, citing user withdrawal as a growing risk
- Gave each crew member a 50%-off coupon for a family-size box of Choco Kibble; confirmed the old tagline (“better than anything from a dumpster”) was real
- Session 05: paid the crew’s full 3,000 EB retainer for curing Jackson and Misty; impressed by their improvised blood-transfusion-plus-synthcoke method
- Removed his sunglasses at Kenny’s request: cyber eyes, heavily modded, double-pupiled — confirmed not purple, i.e. not (yet) assimilated into The Calling
- Took Dr. Brightowski’s location from Kenny under the guise of a “personal favor,” then sent mercs who killed (presumed) him minutes later despite Kenny’s explicit request for care — a likely betrayal that Kenny hasn’t shared with the rest of the crew
- Session 06: fooled by Kenny’s forged intel into believing Shoa Ling was concealing dangerous “Borgware,” and diverted his forces to the front line as a result — a decisive tactical error
- Session 06: personally shot the unarmed, wounded Misty in the calf out of spite once he started losing control of the fight
- Session 06: had his agent hacked by Kenny (DV 26, beaten by a roll of 39) mid-fight, scrambling his ability to remotely order kill-strikes against The Calling’s members in the sewers
- Session 06: had a literal tracker counting down how many Calling members he needed to kill to push Shoa Ling into cyberpsychosis — Kenny broke the news to Martin Gorsky after the fact; it was genuinely touch and go
- Session 06: cornered by Kenny and forced to surrender — released Dr. Willie unharmed and retreated on foot with his surviving men, losing his helicopter and never realizing Broker was part of the crew the entire time
- Session 06: left his terminal open when he fled, exposing CB’s internal mandate for South Town — a cleanup operation to suppress word of Vilify (adapted from CB’s own Nonh chemicals), with South City meant as a test bed for future shipments before the supply chain was destroyed
Open Questions
- What exactly is CB’s role in the Vilify situation — do they know the Nonh has nanomachines?
- What are the “lunar” operations referenced in the data cube?
- What is his actual name and rank within Continental Brands?
- Did he deliberately have Dr. Brightowski killed despite promising otherwise, or did the raid just go wrong?
- Will he retaliate after being humiliated and disarmed in Session 06?
Appearances

- Session 05 — Paid the crew’s retainer for curing Jackson and Misty; took Dr. Brightowski’s location from Kenny and sent mercs who presumably killed him
