Sloan Enderman
Overview
Owner of Enderman’s bar in South Bay. Self-described businessman with no particular loyalties — sells what sells. A retail outlet for Vilify without much apparent guilt about it.
Appearance
Smokes large cigars. Keeps a big bottle of unlabeled liquor on his desk. Works from a windowless upstairs office — two flights up, furnished with what appears to be an IKEA desk that has been thrown away twice and duct-taped back together.
Known Facts
- Owns and operates Enderman’s bar, a South Bay dive
- Sells Vilify at $15/dose; buys supply from the Piranhas; describes the drug as “the practical cane” — cheaper street alternative to Euphoria
- Has a bouncer (big guy, heavy leather jacket, tech armor) and at least one bartender (cracked brunette, busy)
- Known to Fix-it-Felix from a past incident — Felix’s friend slept with Sloan’s bridesmaid; Sloan was on the couch for weeks
- Has a grudging respect for Felix despite the history; can be leveraged with trade (Fix-it-Felix sourced him his current desk)
- Aware of the Second Sons and their position on drug sales; seems to believe he’s below their threshold of concern
- Gave up the Piranha hideout location in exchange for the promise of a 15% better desk
Relationships
- Fix-it-Felix — old acquaintance; complicated history
- The Piranhas — drug supply chain (Piranhas → Enderman’s → street)
Open Questions
- Did Felix actually deliver the better desk? If not, does Sloan still consider the deal honored?
- How does he react to the Piranhas’ Vilify supply being disrupted — does he find a new supplier or move on?
- Does he genuinely believe the Second Sons don’t care about his operation, or is he willfully ignoring a risk?
- What’s the real state of his relationship with Felix — is “best friends” as optimistic as it sounds?
Appearances
